Checkout 51 has expanded yet again! Originally only available on iPad, iPhone, iPod and then growing to include Android mobile devices, users can now add another Checkout 51 account from their computer! That means our family will now have 4 accounts and we can purchase multiples of the offers as long as they are on different receipts. Great!
- my mobile phone (Android) with my e-mail address to log in
- my husband’s mobile phone (Android) with his e-mail address to log in
- iPad with my blogging e-mail address to log in
- laptop using facebook to log in (there are lots of choices for logging in. facebook seemed easy!)
And, great news, I’ll get $2 for submitting my FIRST receipt on my laptop this week for any grocery trip over $20. I love this program!
Using your computer or laptop to submit a receipt takes a few extra steps compared to the mobile app. You’ll need to take a picture (with your phone, camera, computer camera, etc) and save the file to your computer. Then you will upload the picture (or pictures if the receipt is a long one) using the “Choose Image File” button on the screen. It is still a really easy process and I’m thrilled to be moving in 4th gear now in my race to see if I can pay for my iPad within a year. I bought it last year when I learned that I am not Cut Out for Black Friday so the time is counting down!
